IKEA Interior Design Service
We have recently launched an interior design service in collaboration with IKEA. We offer the design, supply and fitting of kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, studies and utility rooms. We work very closely with IKEA to offer three pricing options – good, better and best – which have proved very popular.
We measure up locally and provide the plans to IKEA. Their interior designers prepare various options and when the design is finalised we arrange delivery and fitting locally.
The timetable from enquiry to delivery in the Channel Islands is 4-6 week (for single rooms) and typical savings are around 50% compared to local providers.
The design cost per room is £199 and this includes a visit to the property to measure up and a two hour consultation with IKEA in the planning stage. We offer a discount of 20% for any additional rooms.
The cost of shipping equates to the VAT refund and a local delivery charge; the same basis as we currently charge.
The fitting cost is dependent on the size and nature of the plans. We will provide a fixed quote for this when the plans are confirmed.
